A handsome vintage yew wood bookcase cabinet with a practical two-piece design, offering both open shelving and enclosed storage. Finished in a warm yew wood veneer with attractive grain throughout, this piece would work well in both traditional and country-style interiors.
 
 
The lower section features two drawers above a double cupboard base fitted with a removable internal shelf. The cupboard includes a working lock and key. The top section is an open bookcase fitted with two adjustable shelves, ideal for books, display pieces or general storage.
 
 
The original glazed doors to the upper section appear to have been removed at some point, likely due to damaged glass, though the bookcase remains fully functional and presents well as an open display cabinet.
 
 
Overall the piece is in very good condition with only minor age and use related wear. The top surface of the base section shows some scratches and marks towards the front edge as pictured. Sides and remaining surfaces are generally very clean and well kept.
