A handsome yew wood pedestal desk of classic form, featuring a deep red gilt-tooled leather writing surface. The central drawer is flanked by four graduated drawers to the left and three to the right, with the lower right-hand drawer of double depth - ideal for filing.
 
This piece separates into three sections for ease of movement and transport.
In overall good condition, showing only minor bumps and superficial marks consistent with age and use - (particularly around the trim of the centre drawer) but nothing to detract from its fine presentation.
 
A practical and elegant desk of generous proportions, offering both character and functionality for the traditional study or office.
Comes complete with three keys.
