Vintage Walnut Veneer Waterfall Bureau on Claw & Ball Feet

The fall-front opens smoothly to reveal a brown leather writing surface with a fitted interior featuring a selection of pigeonholes and a small central drawer, perfect for organising stationery and paperwork. Below are three spacious drawers fitted with matching period-style drop handles, all of which run smoothly.
The walnut veneer is in good overall condition with a lovely rich colour and attractive figuring throughout. There are two small chips to the veneer above the keyhole, as shown in the photographs. Unfortunately, there is no key, and there appears to be part of an old key remaining in the lock, although this does not affect the bureau’s use.
Raised on elegant claw and ball feet, this is a well-proportioned and attractive bureau that is both decorative and functional.
