Vintage Bow Front Glazed Display Cabinet
An attractive vintage bow-fronted display cabinet, featuring elegant curved glass sides, decorative glazing and traditional claw and ball feet.
The cabinet has a central glazed door with decorative astragal detailing, opening to reveal two fixed display shelves. The curved glazed sides allow plenty of light into the cabinet and make it ideal for displaying china, glassware, collectables or decorative pieces.
The door opens and closes correctly and retains its working lock and key.
Condition: Solid and sturdy overall, but this is a piece that would benefit from some cosmetic attention and is priced accordingly. A length of decorative trim is missing from the top, together with two small sections of glazing trim towards the top of the door. There are scratches and marks to the top, while the interior shows some wear and would benefit from a refresh. There are also the usual marks and signs of age and previous use throughout.
Despite the cosmetic imperfections, this remains a very attractive cabinet with lovely proportions, curved glazing and particularly appealing claw and ball feet. It would make a great light restoration or upcycling project, or could simply be enjoyed with its existing aged character.
