Vintage Set of Seven Oak Ladder Back Dining Chairs Including Carver Chair
A handsome set of Seven vintage oak ladderback dining chairs, comprising six side chairs and one matching carver chair.
Each chair features an attractive shaped ladderback design, with the carver having shaped wooden arms. The dark oak frames have a lovely traditional appearance and all complement one another well as a complete dining set.
The chairs have floral upholstered seat pads in muted traditional tones. The upholstery remains usable, although there is some variation in colour and fading between the seats, with some more faded than others, as shown in the photographs. The pads could of course easily be recovered if a different look were preferred.
The oak frames are in good overall vintage condition with general marks and signs of previous use. There is some wear around the bases and feet in places, consistent with age.
A lovely practical set with plenty of character, ideal around a farmhouse, rustic or traditional dining table.
