A striking vintage religious lithograph depicting the Holy Face of Christ, based on the celebrated 1874 work St. Veronica’s Handkerchief (Jesus Christus) by Austrian artist Gabriel Cornelius Ritter von Max.
 
 
This beautifully atmospheric print captures Christ wearing the Crown of Thorns with eyes gently closed, rendered in muted sepia tones with subtle crimson highlights. The image is surrounded by a wide original margin and remains an impressive decorative and devotional piece, ideal for a church, chapel, study or traditional home.
 
 
Condition;
* Good vintage condition overall
* Image itself displays well with rich colour and strong detail
* Several tears, creases and age-related wear to the outer paper margins as shown in the photographs
* Tears are confined to the border and do not affect the printed image
* Light age toning and handling marks consistent with age and storage

    Delivery Information

    We offer FREE delivery to England, Wales and most parts of Scotland (excluding The Highlands), If delivery is required to Northern Scotland, please contact us prior to purchase.

    We do not currently offer delivery outside of mainland UK, or to the Scottish Highlands.

    We do not currently offer international shipping, but will work with existing freight distributors.

    Collection is available from our warehouse - LL14 1TG. Please select collection at checkout.

    Between 5 – 15 Working Days.

     

    Delivery Information

    You will receive advance notice of a day and time for delivery within approximately 10 working days, and delivery can take up to 15 working days from order date.

    In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered, and you are responsible for cost of return. Should you wish for us to arrange collection, please get in touch.
