Vintage Oak Veneer Double Door Fitted Wardrobe
 
 
A lovely vintage oak veneer wardrobe dating to 1939, as indicated by a label on the back. Featuring a beautiful warm oak colour, attractive grain and subtle carved detailing to the upper corners of the doors, this wardrobe has plenty of traditional character.
 
 
The wardrobe has two full-length doors which open and close correctly, complete with a working key and lock.
 
 
Inside, the wardrobe offers a practical combination of storage, with a hanging compartment to the left, including a hanging rail and lower foot bar. There is also a small mirror fitted to the inside of the left door. To the right are four shelves, providing useful additional storage for folded clothing, shoes or accessories.
 
 
The exterior is generally in good vintage condition, with some areas of discolouration to the oak veneer and minor age-related wear, all in keeping with its age and character.
 
 
A charming and practical piece of 1930s bedroom furniture, ideal for a traditional bedroom, cottage or vintage-inspired interior.
