Vintage Oak Dresser
Vintage Oak Dresser On Turned Supports
Circa: Early to mid-20th century
Origin: England
Material: Solid oak with brass fittings
A finely proportioned vintage oak dresser of classic English country style, raised on elegant turned supports and displaying the warm, mellow tones characteristic of well-aged oak. The piece comprises two deep drawers, each furnished with decorative brass handles, providing ample storage while retaining a refined simplicity of form.
The dresser separates neatly into two sections for ease of movement and placement. It presents a lovely, honest patina throughout, with some light discolouration to the top surface — the sort of wear consistent with years of gentle use. A small area of wood is missing from the lower right-hand back panel, as detailed in the photographs.
Despite these minor imperfections, this remains an attractive and well-crafted piece of furniture — sturdy, well balanced, and full of rustic charm. It would sit beautifully in a kitchen, dining room, or hallway, complementing both traditional and contemporary interiors.
Condition: Good vintage condition, with age-related marks and wear as described. Structurally sound and ready for use.
