Vintage Dark Oak Open Bookcase by Jaycee – Made in England
 
 
A quality dark oak open bookcase by renowned English furniture maker Jaycee, offering a traditional design with attractive carved detailing and versatile storage. Originally manufactured with glazed doors, these have been removed by a previous owner, creating a practical open bookcase ideal for displaying books, collectables or decorative pieces.
 
 
The bookcase retains its distinctive carved front, where the original doors were fitted, adding character and showcasing its traditional craftsmanship. Inside are two adjustable shelves, allowing the storage space to be tailored to suit a variety of items.
 
 
The top is in good overall condition with some light discolouration to the left-hand side, while the sides remain tidy. There are a few small chips around the lower base and feet consistent with age and use. Two small timber packers have been fitted beneath the front legs, likely by a previous owner to compensate for an uneven floor.
