Vintage Beech Piano Stool with Lift-Up Storage
 
 
A charming vintage beech-framed piano stool, stained in a rich dark brown and displaying plenty of character and age.
 
 
The stool has a padded seat upholstered in a dark crocodile-effect material, finished with traditional stud detailing around the perimeter. The seat lifts to reveal a useful internal storage compartment, originally intended for keeping sheet music.
 
 
The simple ladder-style sides and stretchered base give the stool a traditional appearance, while the dark finish has developed an attractive, well-used patina over the years.
 
 
Condition:
Solid and sturdy overall. There are numerous bumps, knocks, scratches, rubbing and marks throughout, all consistent with age and previous use. Rather than detracting from the piece, these give it a wonderfully lived-in appearance and plenty of vintage character. Please see photographs for further details of condition.
