Vintage Art Deco Walnut Wilkin Dressing Table with Large Mirror
 
 
A beautiful vintage Wilkin Furniture walnut veneer dressing table, with wonderful Art Deco styling, attractive figuring to the walnut and a particularly impressive large shaped mirror.
 
 
The dressing table features three spacious drawers to the front, all running as they should and retaining their matching decorative handles. To either side of the dressing surface are two concealed lift-up compartments, both lined in red and ideal for jewellery or smaller accessories.
 
 
The large mirror gives the piece real presence, while the shaped front, curved detailing and warm walnut veneer make this a very attractive piece of vintage bedroom furniture.
 
 
The dressing table is in good, solid vintage condition overall, although it does show signs of age and previous use. There are some small areas of veneer loss/chipping to the drawer fronts, including the upper drawer, together with a scratch/mark to the central dressing surface. There is also evidence of a small amount of historic woodworm to the rear, which has been treated. Please study the photographs carefully as these form an important part of the condition description.
 
 
Despite these age-related imperfections, it remains a lovely piece with a beautiful colour and plenty of character.
