A charming restored Victorian single bed featuring a traditional white painted iron frame with brass detailing to both the headboard and footboard. The decorative cast sections and warm brass rails give the bed plenty of period character, making it ideal for a cottage, guest room or vintage-inspired interior.
The bed is fitted with a Seventh Heaven firm non-sprung bed base, designed specifically for traditional bedsteads. The iron frame remains solid and sturdy throughout.
The white painted finish contrasts beautifully with the aged brass top rails and finials. One small nut to the Headboard appears to be a later addition, likely fitted simply to secure the brass centre finial in place.
Condition: Good vintage condition overall. The iron frame is solid and structurally sound. The bed base shows visible weathering and water staining but remains sturdy and usable with no breaks. This could easily be hidden beneath bedding or replaced with a timber board if preferred. General age-related wear and patina to the brass and painted finish as expected.
