Victorian Stripped Pine Dresser Base
 
A charming and practical piece of antique pine furniture, this Victorian stripped dresser base features three graduated drawers to the left and a cupboard to the right, all fitted with original-style wooden knobs. Inside the cupboard is a fitted shelf, offering useful storage.
 
Solid and sturdy, the piece rests on bracketed feet. There is some wood loss to the feet—particularly at the back left and the front right—which adds to its quirky, time-worn character without affecting stability.
 
The pine has developed a beautiful, rich patina from years of use, with plenty of marks, bumps, and wear that tell its story and give it personality. Originally, this dresser would have had a back piece; there are two small indents/holes on the top where the supports once sat.
 
Versatile and full of rustic charm, this dresser base would suit almost any room and blend easily with a variety of interiors.
 
There are signs of historic worm which is inactive and has been thoroughly treated.
