Victorian Set of Six Carved Oak Dining Chairs
Victorian Set of Six Carved Oak Dining Chairs
An impressive set of six Victorian oak dining chairs, richly decorated with carved detailing and distinctive lion mask finials to the upper corners. These substantial chairs display wonderful period character and would make a striking addition to a traditional dining room.
Each chair features a solid oak frame with turned front legs, stretchers and decorative carved elements throughout. The backs and seats are upholstered in a faded salmon-pink velvet fabric secured with traditional brass studwork, creating an attractive contrast against the dark oak frames.
The chairs remain sturdy and usable, with age-related wear and repairs commensurate with their age. The upholstery is serviceable but would benefit from replacement should a more refined finish be desired.
