A Victorian oak corner cupboard with mahogany crossbanding, c.1870. The moulded cornice sits above a pair of panelled doors, fitted with a turned brass knob and key escutcheon.
The cupboard opens to reveal shaped corner shelves, retaining remnants of period floral lining. A practical piece, designed to fit neatly into a corner, while offering both storage and display.
Condition:
• One section of cornice missing to the
upper left side.
• Back panels are worn with age, with an old
hole visible.
• Interior shelves and lining show use and
wear.
• Structurally stable, with a rich, aged patina
throughout.
