Featuring two large paneled doors above a decorative false drawer front and one full-length lower drawer, the piece is finished with ornate metal handles that complement the rich warmth of the mahogany. Inside, a full-length hanging rail offers generous storage.
 
The mahogany displays a superb colour and patina, with a deep, lustrous sheen that speaks of age and quality. There are some age-related splits to the sides — entirely typical of period furniture — but the piece remains sturdy and sound.
 
For ease of movement and transport, the wardrobe conveniently separates into two sections. As with many fine antiques, there are small areas of veneer loss consistent with age and use, but these do not detract from its timeless charm.
