The upper section features two glazed doors, opening to reveal three fully adjustable internal shelves, ideal for books, collectibles, or decorative displays. The glazed panels allow light to flow through while showcasing the beautifully aged mahogany interior. This section comes complete with a key.
Below sits a practical and attractive base with two cushion-moulded drawers, offering useful storage for smaller items, paperwork, or household essentials. Beneath the drawers are two lower cupboard doors, opening to reveal a fitted internal shelf, perfect for larger items or additional storage. This lower section also has a key.
The cabinet displays a beautiful colour and patina that only comes with age, enhancing its Victorian character and charm. There is some veneer loss in places, and a few areas of wood loss - as shown in the photographs, along with discolouration to the veneer on the lower front plinth, consistent with age and use. These features do not detract from the overall appeal and instead add authenticity and historical character.
For ease of transport and positioning, the piece separates neatly into two sections.
