This handsome Victorian chest of drawers is crafted from flamed mahogany and features a classic configuration of three upper drawers, including a central hat drawer - over three long, graduated drawers, offering generous and practical storage.
Flanked by simple yet elegant columns, the design balances functionality with refined Victorian style. The rich colour and beautifully aged patina speak to the piece’s history, while its solid, sturdy construction ensures it remains both dependable and durable.
There are some superficial marks, fading and minor bumps in keeping with its age, adding to its authentic antique charm. 
Originally supported by four bulbous feet - now removed, the chest still stands securely. There is evidence of historic woodworm, which is inactive and has been professionally treated, along with some filler and hardener applied underneath. These restorations are not visible in normal use and do not detract from the chest’s integrity or appearance.
