Very Large Vintage Mahogany Upholstered Bench with Turned Supports
A substantial and impressive vintage bench of generous proportions, upholstered throughout in a tapestry-style fabric with decorative stud detailing around the perimeter.
The bench is raised on turned frontal supports and, due to its considerable length, is further strengthened by two additional central supports, ensuring excellent stability. The overall construction is solid and sturdy, making this a practical as well as decorative piece.
The upholstery remains intact and presents well, with the patterned fabric adding colour and character. The wooden frame shows some bumps and knocks here and there, entirely consistent with age and use, A small hole to the right side but nothing that detracts from the structural integrity or overall appeal.
Because of its size, this bench is best suited to a large hallway, reception space, or substantial room where it can be properly appreciated and comfortably accommodated.
