Antique Mahogany Tartan Upholstered Dining Chairs – Set of Six
An attractive set of six antique mahogany dining chairs, featuring elegant shaped backs, cabriole legs and colourful traditional tartan upholstery.
Each chair has a generously upholstered seat together with a tall upholstered back, finished in a striking red, green and gold tartan fabric. The warm mahogany frames have an elegant period design, making these a particularly characterful set for a traditional, country house or eclectic dining room.
The upholstery is in good overall condition throughout and presents very well.
The chairs are solid and usable with general marks and signs of previous use consistent with their age. Two chairs have a small section of wood missing from the front edge of the frame, as shown in the photographs. This has been reflected in the condition description and price.
A handsome and increasingly unusual set of six chairs, with the tartan upholstery giving them plenty of character.
