Set of Four 19th Century Mahogany Dining Chairs
A beautiful set of four 19th century mahogany dining chairs, featuring elegant pierced splat backs with carved detailing and a warm, rich patina that only comes with age.
The chairs are all solid and sturdy, with good colour and pleasing grain throughout. The shaped backs and classic proportions make them both decorative and practical for everyday use.
There is some age-related fading to the wood, consistent with their years, which does not detract from their overall appearance.
The seat pads would benefit from reupholstering, as the fabric is faded and one seat has a slightly different design. This presents a wonderful opportunity to personalise the set with a fabric of your choice.
Despite this minor cosmetic work, they remain an excellent and attractive set of antique dining chairs.

    All our furniture is either antique or second hand, and therefore there may be cosmetic age related surface marks, and or scratches and fading, where identified in the item description.

    We kindly request that you review all photographs as these images form an essential part of the item’s description and condition, offering an important visual insight into its appearance and overall quality.

    If furniture shows signs of historic worm, we will check that this is inactive and treat accordingly to give both you and us peace of mind. Any signs of historic worm will be described in the description.

    Delivery Information

    We offer FREE delivery to England, Wales and most parts of Scotland (excluding The Highlands), If delivery is required to Northern Scotland, please contact us prior to purchase.

    We do not currently offer delivery outside of mainland UK, or to the Scottish Highlands.

    We do not currently offer international shipping, but will work with existing freight distributors.

    Collection is available from our warehouse - LL14 1TG. Please select collection at checkout.

    Between 5 – 15 Working Days.

     

    Delivery Information

    You will receive advance notice of a day and time for delivery within approximately 10 working days, and delivery can take up to 15 working days from order date.

    In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered, and you are responsible for cost of return. Should you wish for us to arrange collection, please get in touch.
