A good quality reproduction yew wood pedestal desk with a classic design, offering plenty of storage and a generous working surface. Finished in attractive yew wood with a brown leather inset writing surface, this desk separates into three sections for easier transportation and positioning.
 
 
The desk features 8 drawers in total, all fitted with matching brass-effect swan neck handles. The top drawers are lockable and come complete with a working key. All drawers run smoothly.
 
 
The brown leather inset top has light age-related marks and wear, while the surrounding wooden rim has some marks, particularly along the rear edge. The left-hand side shows some fading as pictured, with a small split to the trim on the right-hand side and a small section of drawer trim missing from the bottom left drawer. There are also a few indents to the left-hand side of the kneehole and some minor chips around the plinth base, all reflected in the photographs.
 
 
Overall, this is a solid, practical desk with plenty of character, ideal for a home office, study or traditional workspace.
