Set of Six Reproduction French Style Mahogany Dining Chairs
An elegant set of six reproduction French-style dining chairs, comprising four side chairs and two carver armchairs, with beautifully shaped mahogany frames and decorative openwork backs.
The chairs feature sweeping curved backs with intricate carved and pierced detailing, complemented by shaped cabriole-style legs and carved decoration to the frames. The mahogany has a rich, warm colour which works particularly well with the traditional upholstery.
Each chair has a removable upholstered seat pad finished in a deep royal blue fabric with an ornate gold floral motif and subtle red detailing between the pattern.
All six mahogany frames are solid and sturdy, with general signs of previous use consistent with their age.
A particularly attractive set with plenty of decorative presence, ideal around a traditional dining table or for introducing a more classical element into a contemporary interior.
