A substantial and practical reproduction oak side cabinet / bookcase, offering a useful combination of glazed and open storage.
Well made from solid, heavy oak, the cabinet features two glazed outer doors with a central open bookcase section. Both glazed doors open and close correctly and are fitted with traditional-style metal handles.
Internally there is plenty of storage and display space, with three lower shelves offering a degree of height adjustment, making the cabinet suitable for books, glassware, collectables or decorative pieces.
The top is generally in good condition, while the sides show some marks and wear from previous use, with one side showing more wear than the other. There is also a small area of damaged/broken wood towards the back near the foot/base, as shown in the photographs. Otherwise, the cabinet remains solid, sturdy and very substantial.
Its relatively shallow 29cm depth makes this a particularly useful piece for a living room, hallway, study or dining room where storage is required without a cabinet projecting too far into the room.
