A charming reproduction mahogany silver table in the Chippendale manner, of elegant proportions and highly decorative design. Crafted in rich mahogany with fine pierced fretwork throughout, this attractive occasional table is inspired by classic 18th century Chinese Chippendale examples.
 
 
The rectangular top is enclosed by a pierced gallery, ideal for use as a silver table, lamp table, plant stand, or display stand. Raised on slender legs united by an ornate pierced undertier stretcher with central finial, the piece has excellent visual lightness while remaining solid and sturdy.
 
 
Beautifully detailed and well made, this versatile table would sit well in hallway, drawing room, bedroom, or study settings.
 
 
Condition is good vintage order overall, with age-related marks and wear commensurate with use. There is a small loss of wood to the base of one table leg, as shown in the photographs. This is minor and does not detract from the stability or decorative appeal of the piece.
