A classic vintage Parker Knoll wingback armchair, retaining its original Parker Knoll webbing and manufacturer’s tags. With its elegant winged back, shaped arms and timeless proportions, this is a quality British-made chair that would make an excellent restoration or reupholstery project.
The chair is upholstered in a rich deep pink/red velvet fabric, which has seen better days, making it an ideal candidate for recovering in a fabric of your choice. The frame is solid and sturdy, and the original sprung base remains in good working order, providing an excellent foundation for restoration.
There is a hole to the inside of the right-hand arm, as shown in the photographs, together with wear to the upholstery around the top of the headrest. The wooden frame has the expected age-related marks and scuffs consistent with use.

* Sprung seat base is in good condition.
