Pair of Ecclesiastical Oak Panelled Chairs – Carved Gothic Style

A handsome pair of ecclesiastical oak chairs, featuring beautifully panelled backs, attractive carved detailing and a wonderfully traditional Gothic-inspired design. These substantial chairs have a lovely rich oak finish, with tall rectangular backs featuring decorative cross-shaped panels and central carved floral motifs. Each chair also has a narrow red velvet inset towards the top of the backrest, adding a subtle touch of colour and character.

The solid oak seats are supported by sturdy square legs, shaped decorative brackets and traditional stretcher bases, giving the chairs an attractive architectural appearance. Both chairs are particularly solid and heavy, with a lovely sense of quality and craftsmanship.

Their distinctive ecclesiastical styling would make them ideal for a traditional hallway, study, dining room or period interior. They would also look wonderful in a church, chapel or other historic setting.
