Pair of French Louis XV Style Tapestry Armchairs
An elegant and decorative pair of French Louis XV style armchairs, beautifully shaped and upholstered in traditional pastoral tapestry.
The gently shaped frames, finished in soft gilt, display classic Louis XV curves — cabriole legs, flowing arms and a serpentine seat rail. The backs and seats are upholstered in tapestry depicting romantic pastoral scenes, framed with traditional close-set stud detailing.
The proportions are particularly pleasing — generous enough to be comfortable yet refined and graceful in silhouette.
Upholstery is in good condition and fully intact. The frames are solid and sturdy. Light, age-related wear consistent with use adds to their authentic charm.
A wonderfully elegant pair that would sit beautifully in:

    If furniture shows signs of historic worm, we will check that this is inactive and treat accordingly to give both you and us peace of mind. Any signs of historic worm will be described in the description.

    Delivery Information

    We offer FREE delivery to England, Wales and most parts of Scotland (excluding The Highlands), If delivery is required to Northern Scotland, please contact us prior to purchase.

    We do not currently offer delivery outside of mainland UK, or to the Scottish Highlands.

    We do not currently offer international shipping, but will work with existing freight distributors.

    Collection is available from our warehouse - LL14 1TG. Please select collection at checkout.

    Between 5 – 15 Working Days.

     

    Delivery Information

    You will receive advance notice of a day and time for delivery within approximately 10 working days, and delivery can take up to 15 working days from order date.

    In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered, and you are responsible for cost of return. Should you wish for us to arrange collection, please get in touch.
