Oriental Side Cabinet
Beautiful decorative oriental side cabinet with a lovely aged patina and character. A solid and sturdy piece that would work well as a sideboard, media cabinet or occasional storage.
Featuring two cupboard doors with brass escutcheons and lock plate. A ring pull has been added to the front by a previous owner; however, the cabinet still comes with the original oriental lock. This can be used if the ring pull is removed — we’ve left this as is so the next owner can decide.
Raised on nicely shaped legs and showing a warm, rich tone throughout. The interior offers useful storage space, and a small circular hole has historically been cut into the back, likely to allow for plugs or wiring if used for music or TV equipment.
Condition is good overall with a solid structure and attractive wear. There are some superficial marks and signs of age-related use which add to the character of the piece.
A charming and practical cabinet that will suit a variety of interiors.
