Heavily Carved Vintage Oriental Two-Fold Decorative Screen

A beautiful and highly decorative vintage Oriental two-fold screen, featuring an intricately carved dark wooden frame and striking floral panels with wonderful three-dimensional detailing.

The upper sections feature elaborate openwork carvings, whilst the main panels have a rich deep red border decorated with delicate floral and foliage designs. Set against the contrasting black background are raised flowers, birds and butterflies in beautiful cream and golden tones, creating a particularly eye-catching appearance.

The lower sections feature further detailed wood carvings, adding to the character and craftsmanship of this unusual piece.

The reverse is also decorated with floral detailing and small white heart motifs.
