A distinguished Georgian oak press cupboard, full of period character and crafted in wonderfully figured oak. This substantial, practical piece offers both hanging space and drawer storage, and separates into two sections for ease of transport—typical of well-made early cabinetry.

Two-Part Construction: Upper cupboard and lower drawer chest detach for easier moving.
Upper Cupboard Interior:
Two large doors that open and close well.
Fitted with two hanging rails running front to back.
Additional small rail mounted on the right-hand door—ideal for ties, scarves, or accessories.
Lower Section:
Five drawers in total, including three small top drawers and two full-width drawers.
Some drawers retain mother-of-pearl escutcheons.
All drawers run smoothly.
One centre small drawer missing.

Chip to the top left front corner.
Chunk/cut-out to the rear of the right side, likely done historically to fit the piece into an alcove.
General age-related marks consistent with an antique of this period.
Structurally solid and presents beautifully.
