An early 20th century George III style wing back armchair, well-proportioned and full of character. Crafted in beech, the chair rests on cabriole front legs with a turned stretchered base, reflecting the elegance of the period style.
 
Later upholstered in a soft blue fabric, the chair shows some wear, with fraying at the back where the arms meet the rear. Signs of tacks suggest a previous attempt to keep the fabric tight against the frame (see photographs for details).
 
Despite these imperfections, this is a wonderfully shaped chair with plenty of charm. It can be enjoyed as it stands, or offers excellent potential as a restoration or reupholstery project to bring it back to its full glory.

If furniture shows signs of historic worm, we will check that this is inactive and treat accordingly to give both you and us peace of mind. Any signs of historic worm will be described in the description.

Delivery Information

We offer FREE delivery to England, Wales and most parts of Scotland (excluding The Highlands), If delivery is required to Northern Scotland, please contact us prior to purchase.

We do not currently offer delivery outside of mainland UK, or to the Scottish Highlands.

We do not currently offer international shipping, but will work with existing freight distributors.

Collection is available from our warehouse - LL14 1TG. Please select collection at checkout.

Between 5 – 15 Working Days.

 

Delivery Information

You will receive advance notice of a day and time for delivery within approximately 10 working days, and delivery can take up to 15 working days from order date.

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered, and you are responsible for cost of return. Should you wish for us to arrange collection, please get in touch.
