A fine example of Georgian craftsmanship, this George III oak bureau features a fitted fall front opening to a thoughtfully arranged interior, ideal for writing or organizing small items. Below, two short drawers sit above three graduated long drawers, all adorned with elegant swan-neck brass handles. The piece stands confidently on sturdy bracket feet.
Rich in character, the bureau displays a beautiful aged patina with time-worn marks, bumps, and an indented area on the right-hand side of the fall front—adding to its authentic charm. There are signs of historic woodworm, now inactive and fully treated.
Solid, practical, and full of timeless appeal, this bureau offers excellent storage and will complement a wide range of interiors—from traditional to eclectic. A wonderful piece of antique furniture with enduring style

If furniture shows signs of historic worm, we will check that this is inactive and treat accordingly to give both you and us peace of mind. Any signs of historic worm will be described in the description.

Delivery Information

We offer FREE delivery to England, Wales and most parts of Scotland (excluding The Highlands), If delivery is required to Northern Scotland, please contact us prior to purchase.

We do not currently offer delivery outside of mainland UK, or to the Scottish Highlands.

We do not currently offer international shipping, but will work with existing freight distributors.

Collection is available from our warehouse - LL14 1TG. Please select collection at checkout.

Between 5 – 15 Working Days.

 

Delivery Information

You will receive advance notice of a day and time for delivery within approximately 10 working days, and delivery can take up to 15 working days from order date.

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered, and you are responsible for cost of return. Should you wish for us to arrange collection, please get in touch.
