French Vitrine Display Cabinet

French Vitrine Display Cabinet

SKU: T923 223200 240926
French Style Vitrine Display Cabinet with Gilt Metal Mounts
An elegant French-style vitrine display cabinet with a beautifully shaped bow front, rich warm-toned finish and decorative gilt metal mounts throughout.
The cabinet features a central glazed door opening to a display area with clear perspex shelves, together with curved open display sections to either side. Raised on slender shaped legs with further gilt detailing, it is a particularly attractive piece and ideal for displaying china, glassware or collectibles.
The cabinet is in good vintage condition overall. The colour and finish present well, with some age-related wear within the side compartments. There is some chipping to the undersides of the top flank shelves, and the perspex shelves as pictured/mentioned, but this does not detract greatly when the cabinet is displayed. The legs are solid and in good condition. Unfortunately the internal glass shelves have been replaced with Perspex shelves at some point. There is no key with this cabinet, therefore one would need to be sourced.
Dimensions: W 86cm × D 37cm × H 142cm
A very decorative and unusual display cabinet with plenty of French-inspired character.
