Edwardian Satinwood Chest Of Drawers

A lovely and characterful Edwardian satinwood bedroom chest of drawers, offering useful storage and a wonderfully warm, time-worn appearance.

The chest features two smaller drawers over two full-width drawers, all finished with attractive original decorative brass handles. It is a solid and sturdy piece with particularly appealing colour and patina.

The chest has been left in its original, unrestored condition, retaining the marks and imperfections acquired through many years of use. There are various scratches, knocks, ring marks and general surface wear throughout, particularly to the top.

There is a small section of wood missing from the front left-hand side of the plinth, as shown in the photographs. There are also signs of very minimal historic woodworm, which is inactive and has been treated.

A charming piece of Edwardian furniture with a relaxed, rustic appearance that would work particularly well in a country, period or vintage-inspired bedroom.

Condition:
Solid and sturdy overall. Numerous age-related marks, scratches, ring marks and general wear throughout. Small loss to the front left-hand side of the plinth. Minimal historic woodworm, inactive and treated. Please see photographs for full condition.
