Edwardian Mahogany Twin Pedestal Dressing Table
 
 
A handsome Edwardian mahogany twin pedestal dressing table, featuring an impressive large central mirror, decorative carved detailing and excellent storage.
 
 
The dressing table has nine dovetailed drawers in total, all running well and fitted with decorative brass handles. The twin pedestal design provides generous storage while retaining a useful central kneehole.
 
 
Above the tabletop is a large central mirror, secured by two swivel pins. Flanking the mirror are two attractive raised jewellery/storage sections with carved detailing, each incorporating a small drawer and a small mirror beneath.
 
 
The mahogany has a lovely warm colour and the piece displays particularly well. There is general age-related wear, bumps and marks throughout as expected. There is a small amount of wood loss towards the rear upper edge of each side, more noticeable on the left, but neither detracts significantly when the piece is in position.
 
 
The mirror and upper jewellery sections can be removed for easier transportation. The main pedestal base is one piece.
