A charming Edwardian inlaid mahogany narrow display cabinet, beautifully proportioned and ideal for smaller spaces while still offering excellent display and storage.
The cabinet features a glazed upper section complete with its key, allowing clear viewing of contents while keeping them secure. Inside, it is lined with its original decorative material and fitted with two fixed shelves, perfect for displaying china, collectibles, books, or ornaments.
Below sits a bowed-front cupboard base, also in mahogany with attractive inlay detail to the door. The lower section opens to reveal an open internal space, ideal for additional storage.
The cabinet rests on elegant tapered supports, enhancing its refined Edwardian appearance and light, graceful profile.
The mahogany has a lovely rich patina overall, with some minor superficial marks consistent with age and use. There is some veneer loss to the left-hand side as shown in the photographs, along with areas of fading to the wood finish. These are cosmetic and reflected in the character of the piece, not affecting its structure or function.
