Edwardian Mahogany Inlaid Display Cabinet
 
 
An elegant Edwardian mahogany display cabinet with fine inlaid detailing and attractive glazed doors featuring decorative arched astragal bars. Raised on slender tapering legs, this is a beautifully proportioned antique piece ideal for displaying ceramics, books or collectables.
 
 
The cabinet has two fixed internal shelves and retains its original silk lining, adding to its period charm. The silk does have some fading as seen in the photographs. The doors open and close well and the cabinet comes complete with a working key.
 
 
Condition is good overall with some age-related fading and superficial marks in places, though nothing significant. There are signs of minimal historic woodworm which is inactive and has been treated. The cabinet also retains two small fixing brackets, one on either side, allowing it to be secured safely to a wall if desired.
 
 
A lovely elegant piece with classic Edwardian styling and a warm rich mahogany tone throughout.
