A handsome Edwardian mahogany glazed bookcase, offering an impressive amount of storage and display space with plenty of period character.
 
 
The upper section features two glazed doors, opening to reveal three adjustable shelves, allowing the interior to be configured to suit books, glassware or decorative pieces.
 
 
Below are two useful drawers with their original brass handles, while the base has a pair of beautifully carved panelled cupboard doors with a particularly attractive scrolling floral design. Inside the lower cupboard is one fitted shelf providing further storage.
 
 
The bookcase comes complete with keys.
 
 
Condition: A solid and substantial piece with some general marks, knocks and signs of age and previous use here and there, as you would expect from an Edwardian piece. There is a small partial ring mark to the top of the base cupboard. These add to its character rather than detracting from its overall appearance.
 
 
A particularly attractive period bookcase that would work beautifully in a living room, study, dining room or traditional interior.
