A handsome Edwardian mahogany extending dining table, combining elegant period styling with a practical wind-out mechanism.
The table stands on four beautifully shaped cabriole legs terminating in castors, giving it an attractive and refined appearance. The rich mahogany has a lovely warm colour and grain throughout.
The table retains its wind-out crank mechanism, which operates smoothly, and comes complete with one removable extension leaf. When closed it provides a generously sized dining table, while the additional leaf extends the length to 182cm, making it ideal when extra dining space is required.
The tabletop is generally in good condition for its age, with some minor marks, blemishes and signs of previous use here and there, all consistent with an Edwardian piece. The frame is solid and sturdy.
