Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany Serpentine Front Side Table
An elegant Edwardian mahogany side table of fine quality, the serpentine front and slender square tapering legs lending a pleasing sense of proportion and lightness. The single drawer is outlined with satinwood stringing and decorative corner fan inlays, retaining its original gilt brass handle of Rococo design.
The mahogany has developed a superb, mellow patina, characteristic of age and gentle use. The top bears a few light marks, commensurate with age, which do not detract from its charm.
One front leg has been professionally replaced at an early date, in keeping with the original design. There is evidence of historic woodworm, now long inactive and thoroughly treated for reassurance.
A graceful and refined piece, exemplifying late Edwardian taste and craftsmanship — ideal for use as a hall, lamp, or occasional table.

Delivery Information

We offer FREE delivery to England, Wales and most parts of Scotland (excluding The Highlands), If delivery is required to Northern Scotland, please contact us prior to purchase.

We do not currently offer delivery outside of mainland UK, or to the Scottish Highlands.

We do not currently offer international shipping, but will work with existing freight distributors.

Collection is available from our warehouse - LL14 1TG. Please select collection at checkout.

Between 5 – 15 Working Days.

 

Delivery Information

You will receive advance notice of a day and time for delivery within approximately 10 working days, and delivery can take up to 15 working days from order date.

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered, and you are responsible for cost of return. Should you wish for us to arrange collection, please get in touch.
