Early Victorian Mahogany Three Drawer Chest of Drawers (Short Proportions)
 
A charming antique mahogany chest of three drawers, compact in stature and full of character. This piece has a wonderfully warm, rich patina built up over many decades, showcasing the natural ageing and depth that only true antique mahogany can offer.
 
The chest features its original turned wooden handles on the top two drawers, with one handle on the middle drawer showing a small loss to the lower right section. All drawers run smoothly and sit well within their frames.
 
The piece carries the hallmarks of its age, including chips to the veneer along the lower edges, a visible surface crack to the top that adds to its rustic charm, and historic woodworm holes to the sides and top. These are fully treated and long inactive, left visible as part of its authentic antique character.
