Early 20th Century Carved Oak Single Wardrobe
Early 20th Century Carved Oak Single Wardrobe
A charming 1920s oak wardrobe of fine craftsmanship, featuring a central mirrored door and a single drawer to the base. Constructed as one solid piece, with only the crown section removable for ease of transport.
The oak grain displays a rich, warm colour with a lovely natural sheen, complemented by decorative carved detailing to the front panels. The long mirrored door retains its original key and functioning lock; the handle turns smoothly to open. The lower drawer, fitted with matching ring handles, runs cleanly and offers useful storage.
Inside, a full hanging rail is accompanied by two side hooks and two additional hooks to the back panel, providing flexible hanging options.
Condition is excellent for its age — the sides and back are sound, the crown is intact with only a small front blemish and light wear to one corner, consistent with age and use.
A timeless piece of English oak furniture that would sit beautifully in both period and contemporary interiors.
