Framed “Hunting Ducks” After Eugène Petit – Country Sporting Print
An attractive framed sporting print entitled “Hunting Ducks”, after the 19th-century French artist Eugène Petit.
The scene depicts two hunting dogs working beside the water, with ducks in flight above, surrounded by reeds and grasses. A lovely traditional country scene with plenty of character, particularly suited to a country house, study, hallway or shooting-inspired interior.
The print is mounted beneath glass and presented in a decorative gilt-effect frame. It is a later reproduction of the 19th-century work, rather than an original 19th-century print.
The frame is in good overall condition with only minor signs of previous use.
