Classical Lady in Green – Decorative Framed Portrait Print
An attractive and beautifully presented framed portrait print depicting an elegant young lady in traditional Renaissance-style dress.
The lady is portrayed wearing a richly coloured green gown with flowing sleeves, delicate lace cuffs and a matching headdress, holding an elaborate feather fan in front of her. Her thoughtful expression and the warm, ornate background give the picture a wonderfully classical and romantic appearance.
The artwork is presented behind glass in an attractive burr-effect wooden frame, complemented by a cream mount and fine gilt detailing. The combination of rich green tones and warm wood colouring makes this a particularly appealing decorative piece.
To the reverse is the original framing label from Studio 7, Maurice Baker, St Julian’s Craft Centre, Shrewsbury, providing an interesting detail about its framing history.
