The tabletop shows expected marks and discolouration where the mirror once stood, adding to its sense of story and authenticity.
 
Behind the rich oak doors are three storage cupboards, each fitted with a single shelf, offering generous and practical space for dining essentials, household wares, or even modern living storage. Above, three smooth-running drawers provide additional organisation.
 
There are traces of historic woodworm to the back panel—fully treated and no longer active—and a small original tag marking its past life in Shrewsbury, giving the piece a reassuring sense of provenance.
