The desk features a total of seven drawers, providing generous storage. One drawer is a little stiff in operation, and the central drawer shows breaks to the wood at the top left and bottom right of the drawer front, as shown. These issues are reflected in the condition and do not detract from the general usability of the piece.
The tabletop shows some discolouration, but retains a nice overall colour and patina, consistent with age and use. The desk remains solid and sturdy, with a good stance and comfortable kneehole space.
