Antique Oak Corner Cupboard on Stand
A very impressive and substantial antique oak corner cupboard, full of character and offering excellent storage while making a striking feature in a traditional or country-style interior.
The cupboard is constructed in solid oak with an attractive deep, aged finish and panelled door. It sits on a sturdy raised stand and separates into two sections, making transportation and access considerably easier.
Internally, the cupboard provides three fixed shelves, offering generous storage for crockery, glassware, books or display pieces.
The cabinet is very solid, heavy and substantial, with the expected marks, knocks and imperfections associated with genuine antique furniture. There are signs of historic woodworm, which is inactive and has been treated. The top of the cabinet has also been replaced at some point during its life. These points are mentioned for accuracy and form part of the piece’s long history and character.
