This elegant walnut sideboard features a distinctive bow front and a beautifully figured gallery back. The central section comprises two drawers over a small cupboard, flanked by two larger cupboards—each enclosing a single shelf, offering practical and generous storage.
The drawer and cupboard fronts are richly carved, showcasing fine craftsmanship, and are adorned with decorative brass swan-neck handles. Please note: the handles are missing from the cupboard doors. The sideboard includes a working key that locks all cupboards securely.
Resting on short turned supports, this piece boasts a warm, aged patina that only comes from decades of careful use. There are a few minor bumps, chips, and surface marks in keeping with its age, including a historic chip to the left front aspect that has been sensitively stained to blend in.
Despite these age-related imperfections, this sideboard remains a striking and versatile piece—both functional and decorative—ideal for enhancing a range of traditional or eclectic interiors.
