Victorian Oak Sideboard
Victorian oak sideboard having two drawers with decorative brass handles over two doors with decoratively carved panels all resting on substantial shaped supports.
Originally this sideboard would have had a top section as seen out by the cut outs to the rear of the top. These cut outs could easily be cut off to give the sideboard a flush appearance.
Inside the cupboards each have a shelf. The left hand cupboard has a circular hole drilled through the base - we assume that it has been previously used to house something electrical. There is a small slither of wood missing from the base of the right hand leg - but it does not affect it in any way.
This is a very heavy and sturdy sideboard which will be around for generations to come. It has a great patina that only comes with age and use. It affords great storage and would fit in with most surroundings and decor.
If you’re looking for a sturdy antique sideboard that has a beautiful design, then this may be for you!
